Why I made the coin

There was a moment— I won’t pretend it was just one, it was many— where I stood on the tee, or in the kitchen, or in front of a mirror, and I knew exactly what I wanted to do next.

And I didn’t do it.

I let the autopilot win.

I think you know that moment too. The one where you can feel the better version of yourself standing right there, just behind your shoulder, and you don’t quite turn around.

So I made something to turn me around.
